I waited how long for THIS?!

Greeting Peeps,

Just a quick note to let you know that I finally received a reply from the imeem team in regards to collaborative playlists like we had in boomshuffle. It has been months since I sent the email but I finally got a reply. I think this person has a future in politics as they never answered the question asked;

Hi Chester,

imeem has discontinued the Boomshuffle service in late April. While it
was very cool, the Boomshuffle service never really took off in a
meaningful way with consumers; we've chosen instead to focus all of our
resources on imeem's continuing growth.

Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

the imeem team

At least they got my name right!

Take Your Chicken to Work Day

Howdy Peeps,

Well in observance of National Take Your Chicken to Work Day (August 28th), I had the 'pleasure' of riding into Augusta on the second fastest yellow plastic thing that I know of (obviously I am the fastest).

I thought it would be pretty cool, but I didn't realize there was actually going to be work involved!

I had to act as Security Chicken...

and had to call for tech support on something called a Good Server because Lee though tit was a 'Good' idea to swap the server off Virtual Server to the ESXi box late in the day! Ask him about it sometime when you are having a hard time getting to sleep.

We finally got everything working but we didn't get out of there until late! That is the window behind me looking outside!

It was a long day for sure, but Lee says any day you can ride to work ain't all bad!

Keep on cluckin'

One FAST Chicken!

Holy FN Crap the SUN came out this weekend!!!!!!!!!!

Well the the weather FINALLY broke around here this weekend, so we were able to get some work and play done outside for a change.

Lee worked outside all day on Saturday but we able to sneak out for a bike ride Sunday while Tammy took her 'Race nap'. You see she likes to take a little siesta while the Nextel Cup race is on TV on Sunday afternoons...

Back to the RIDE. Well, we took off and headed towards Benton to make a quick stop by Jode's house to day hello, but somewhere around Fairfield we pick up a rain shower. This shower must be a big fan of fast Chickens because it rode with us through Benton (we didn't stop to see Jode)... into Unity ... and finally turned off somewhere in Albion.

We made a quick stop at the Landing in China to check out the new exhaust and hugger and dry off the face shield on Lee's helmet. He says you can only clear so much water by turning your head (if you ride, you know).

We had a few people give us a strange look. I assume they don't see many screaming yellow VFR's with Rubber Chickens on them...

This is where I rode most of the time. Water makes me nervous ever since the trip to the Samoset for some reason, so I didn't like the rain much!

We made it back home to Waterville OK, but Lee says he has to ditch the Hugger he put on this spring as it does not seem to enjoy the heat from the Wolf Systems Underseat Exhaust. I guess we need to find I real carbon fiber unit. Ebay here we come (again)!

I tried to drive the Viffer, but have a problem reaching the controls!

Hanging Out at the Slaney Family Reunion

Howdy Peeps!

Well I attended the Slaney Family Reunion this past weekend. From what I have heard it was much more subdued than some of the past versions, but a good time was had by all.

I had "Cooler Duty" for part of the day/night.

Liam makes me a bit nervous in this shot...

It was nice that the weather held out (something that it has not done much of lately) as we had no rain on the day. Many of the New Hampshire folks made it a day trip and we all appreciate their making the trip up!
We will see you next year!!

Getting Caught Up

Hello Everyone,

My apologies for not posting for the entire month of July!!

You know the deal, a Chicken's job is never done.

Anyway here is what I have been up to:

After my last post, I returned home from a GREAT TRIP to DC with Cindy, even if she was a bit of a mother hen to me. Seriously, I couldn't spread my wings the way I wanted (actually, that is physical limitation as much as anything, I suppose), but I still had a pretty good time. Rumor has it that there are more pictures floating around from that trip that may show up eventually...

Anywho, some of my peeps threw me a Welcome Home Chester Party (they made it seem like a Congratulations Party for the tall German who held me captive, but we all know better).

She has no idea that I am the REAL reason for the party...

Chicks dig me!

What you don't see is me, off to the right, trying to teach these guys something about being a Dude!!Well that's it for now.

I was at the Slaney Family Reunion this weekend and will post on that later!

Stay Classy!
