Summer is Rockin' Past Us!
Howdy Peeps,
Well it is now August and we have actually had some decent weather in the great North East as of late.
I did make time in my hectic schedule to shoot a video, so please check it out below. Fair warning, though, you may have this song stuck in your head all day!

I Have NOT Floated Away!
My apologies for missing the entire month of June, Peeoples!
This frigging rain has kept me under wraps, but while I have been inside getting cabin fever, I have found a few interesting things on the old Interwebs...
Enjoy the University of Andy videos below (if you are not watching Weeds, then you should be);
How to Hold Your Liquor (I should pay attention to this one (but I won't))
How to Start a Band
How to Score with Foreign Chicks (Yeah Buddy!)
How to Satisfy a Woman (for those that need the help, unlike your favorite Chicken)
Manscaping (There is no such thing as Chickenscaping)
Bear ATTACK!
Uncle Andy is great for your vocabulary! How many words/phrases did you learn?

Long Lost Aussie Cousin in Trouble?!
Howdy Peeps!
Well once again I am so very happy to be an USA Chicken! (let's not discuss the made in Taiwan stuff, mmmm K?)
One of my Peeps, Jamie, told me about this scandal and I just had to share it. You can read the entire story here, but it seems that an Australian "Football" team, the North Melbourne Kangaroos made a little video called "The Adventures of Little Boris"
Enjoy the video:
I must say I don't see what all the controversy is about, but they are going crazy down under:
Aussie News Stories:
thewest.com.au
North Melbourne will investigate which of its players posted on the internet a degrading video that depicts a toy rubber chicken performing sex acts.
The four-minute video, posted on video sharing website YouTube, features the rubber chicken, always wearing a condom on its head and manoeuvred by an unidentifiable hand, seeming to sexually penetrate a real chicken carcass, The Age newspaper reports....
WAtoday.com.au
Roos' sick sex video a 'foolish prank'
The entire Kangaroos playing list has fronted the media to apologise for the internet video scandal after admitting that every player had watched the clip...
To be honest with you I take this as a bit of a challenge!
What do my Peeps think?

SCREWED!
Well, Peeps, I am pretty TICKED OFF!
I was all excited when I was abruptly tossed into a car and told I was on my way to see the Red Sox host the Yankees @ Fenway Park. Phil and Ellen went with Lee and Tammy and we were on the road around 10 A.M.

Here is Phil telling me to take it easy and pace myself...

I did not listen...

We drove down to Portland and took the Amtrak Down Easter from Portland to Boston.

a pretty good way to travel

We took the T from North Station to Prudential and walked to the hotel, which was less than a mile from Fenway.
This was the first meeting of these teams this season and promised to be a good series as they are most often. But, for some reason unknown to me, I was not included in the trip from the hotel to the ballpark!!! I am beyond words @ this point and cannot continue concerning the festivities for the night, since I was not included. I will, in the interest of giving my fans the rest of the story, let Lee fill in the blanks. Do not think this excuses you Lee as I am still extremely upset with you, Tammy, Phil, and Ellen!!
-Chester
Thanks Chester, I'll take it from here, you Psycho Chicken!
We walked over to Fenway from the MidTown Hotel
Much to my excitement, we decided to check out the Bleacher Bar (check out the link and check out the place if you get down there)! It is under the Bleachers in Fenway Park and was pretty close to directly under where we sat for the game.
Phil & Ellen @ the bar (LOVE Phil's shirt, btw)

Tammy & Me

The place was full of great fans, 99.9% Red Sox fans. Actually there did not seem to be as many fans of the evil empire in general as in past trips. I was befriended by an fellow Sox fan who introduced me to my first Kamikaze Shot! This followed a steady diet of an old favorite Sam Summer and caused me to skip a round or two as the evening progressed. The food was good, the beer cold, and the company great! On to our seats!
We had bleacher seats and sat in section 36
This was our view

Lester on the mound

Phil & Ellen enjoying the game

The game was fantastic with the after many men frustratingly left on base the Sox came back to tie it with a Jason Bay home run in the bottom of the ninth. The ninth inning was like a game within in itself with great defense from Pedrioa saving a run, the two run shot off Rivera to tie it (we had a GREAT view of the Green Monster and the home run)

Cinco Ocho came in

and threw heat (though was not overly sharp)

and with a HUGE SHOT Youkilis blasts one over the monster for a walk off homer!

The SOX WIN!

We had a BLAST!

This was my first game in the bleachers since I was a kid. I would definitely sit out there again.
GO SOX!!

You Had Me At Beer...
Guten Haben Peeps!
Well it was quite a weekend! Lee and Tammy got back from seeing the latest Fabbricatore on the planet (check out the Fabs blog for more info on that) and told me we were going to.... wait for it..... Beerfest.... I KNOW! That's what I said!! So I did a little HCD (Happy Chicken Dance)!!
Here's the dealio, we drove to Augusta and walked into the Civic Center from the pleasantly full parking lot (everyone seemed happy to see me as usual). As we approached the building the bi-peds had their ID checked (I know right? Lee getting carded BAAAWK). The dude checking IDs said something like "I don't even want to ask about the Chicken" I assume he was too shy to ask for an Autograph.. oh well, his loss.
We then entered the building and oh the smell! I assume that is what heaven smells like (or @ least for we Party Chickens anyway). Say it with me BEEEEEEEERRRR! Yeah Baby!!
There were quite a few people here as you can see

They give you a commemorative glass with 10 tickets each and get this.... you trade these tickets for BEER! Oh Happy Days!

With one of two bands (State Street Traditional Jazz Band) playing in the background, first up was an old favorite to get the taste buds working. Shipyard! Brewers of Pumkinhead Ale (one of the best things about fall in Maine)! Pumkinhead is out of season, but the very tasty Summer is in! They had these T-Shirts hanging behind the Taps

Here is Tammy sharing her Shipyard Summer with me

The longest lines of the night seemed to be in front of Oak Pond Brewing

but the line moved pretty quickly and @ the end we were awarded with some fine beverages!
I had the Nut Brown Ale and it was very good (one of my favorites as it turned out). It was so good I didn't even get a picture of it before it was gone!

I will be making a trip to Skowheagan to follow up on this fine brew.
Next up was a favorite establishment of Central Maine, The Liberal Cup.

The line was also quite long here

But we were, once again, rewarded for our wait and this time with a BRAND NEW BREW called Dunkel John's Brew

Now, Peeps let me tell you, there were many a fine brew here this night, but only one earned two of my tickets and it was this one. It is a dark wheat ale that will be a regular for me when I travel to Hallowell and is worth the trip for you to do so, too!

While I enjoyed this new favorite, Tammy made her way over to Atlantic Brewing Company

to have a little of their world famous Blueberry Ale. She liked it, but it is not a fav of mine since I do not like blueberries anyway.
I then made it over to Allagash Brewing Company and tried their recommended White Ale, which was good, but a bit to much clove taste for me. I was OK with it until Tammy mentioned the clove thing and I kept thinking of a bad ham dinner from years past and it was ruined for me!

On to Peak Organic Brewing Company to try their IPA

This was also pretty good, but a little hoppy and I prefer a little more citrus tastes.

On to the Kennebec River Brewery to sample some of their offerings

The place had quite a few party animals running around, besides me. At some point in the night this guy thought I was a snack! I guess I do NOT taste like chicken after all!

One of the last brews was from one of favorite establishments in Southern Maine Sebago Brewing Company who served up their fine Runabout Red Ale

Good stuff!!
The second band was now in full swing. Strauss and Company was playing some good bluesy rockabilly. Check them out if you get a chance.

We then tried the Sunday River Brewing 420 IPA

After that we used our last ticket on second serving of the Dunkel John's Brew from the Liberal Cup. You gotta try this beer!
I may have missed a few things that happened or beers I had, but what do you want from a Rubber Chicken?!

Pardon Me, but is that a chicken on Uranus?

Hello again, Peeps!
Well, last Friday I made the trip up to Caribou (follow the link to a webcam shot near the office) and after a long day of work, we stopped for a few pictures of me on Uranus.
Never one to let facts or history get in the way of a good joke or three;
- Thanks to scientist, Ben Dover for his discovery, we can all look up at URANUS now.
- Due to the poisonous gases that exist, Man nor Chicken can not survive anywhere near URANUS.
- There are two mountains, a crater, and a lava flow on Uranus
Okay, well actually there is a scale model of the Solar System in Northern Maine. As always, you can click on the picture for a larger view if you cannot quite read what is on the sign

And yes they let poor little planet/not a planet Pluto stay!
Enjoy the slide show!

New Orleans More Than Just Bourbon Street
While my time in New Orleans will most be remembered for the night time activities, I did have to pitch in and help out during the day as well.
My likeness was used to help keep the Geeks in line;

And I was consulted in a presentation or two & a little network tech support...

There are many activities in the area from historical, ghost, swamp and river tours to shops, museums and restaurants. Just a great interesting city!
Below are a few pictures form the Swamp and River Tours we took while in New Orleans. I hope you enjoy them;

The picture on the left is the spot where the house was built and resided before Katrina. The picture on the right is where Katrina placed it, almost intact some 2 miles away!!!

The bipeds on the tour nicknamed it the Bug Tour since the the 3 different bug sprays did little to hold off the gnats, though they did not seem to bother me!
Here are a couple of natives....
A Water Moccasin

And some Gators

Some more of my cousins...

Some nice flora
